SONGS OF CALVARY CHAPEL HYMNAL

We love to sing hymns and praise choruses and we have created our own special collection of songs that our Calvary Chapel family enjoys singing. The singing of hymns and choruses was a practice of first century Christians. The Bible tells us that Jesus sang a hymn with His disciples (Matthew 30). Paul himself encouraged singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and that tradition of creative expression of faith in Christ through song has carried forward from the early Christians to our present day. In fact, many of the songs in this book were first introduced to the Body of Christ through our own family!
