Description
Over 2 years in the making, Hanz Ives releases his 2nd solo project, Under The Banner. From the singer songwriter moments of "Your Banner Over Me", "Your voice" and "You Spoke Peace" to the art rock inspired, guitar slinging moments of "King Eternal" Under The Banner is a cross section of the many musical influences in Hanz's life.
"At the outset of the recording process my goal was to create what would be a statement for where I'm at spiritually, musically and physically." says Hanz. "I think by God's grace I've done that. I think at every turn the listener will sense a calm confidence; confidence in the message, that the music fits the message and confidence that the ministry value will be the ultimate end result. I have some amazingly talented friends who have lent their giftedness to the songs, their contribution to the project takes it to an a really special place musically. And if that weren't enough I get the ultimate dad moment as my daughters Elly and Mary join me in performing on several of the songs. I am really excited for these songs to be out because I really believe they will minister to everyone who hears them."
